Dynamic Presentation

Critique of my 'Dynamic Presentation'

To start I don't feel my dynamic presentation was all that dynamic. There's not enough depth in the presentation. It's lacking energy and cohesion.

I think I used the full extent of the A1 paper and my images stayed fairly sharp. There's suitable overlay of the images and they do seem forceful but not dynamic.  I feel this is due to the title and my name not having enough impact and there was no clear idea from the offset.

I feel the first failure was not fully comprehending the brief and therefore not having a clear idea of where to take it. I looked up dynamic in the dictionary but not dynamic presentation - rookie error! I also tried developing my ideas in my head rather than getting them down on my sketch book.

My second failure was my spelling, photoshop doesn't have spell check.

I didn't allow enough time for printing and understand the implications of taking something from computer to paper. I did however get to understand where the printers are and how to use them. I'll print off on different printers from here on in so as to see the variation.

Things to move forward with

Looking at spacial elements, Background, Middle Ground and Foreground.
Expressing layers with overlapping.
Looking at content and void.
Rule of thirds.
Adding perceived movement with space and gravity.
Don't add anything that wasn't in the brief.
Make sure that everything you include has a role.
